Up and running...

Muscle Up Bars have been on the market now for a little over 3 months, and we are so excited with the positive reaction and support that we have received in the fitness community! In fact, we are a bit overwhelmed with how quickly we are growing!

Our first shipment of 5,000 bars arrived in Connecticut just as we were set to leave for California for a week of vacation and visiting family and friends. Needless to say, when we returned home, we had a lot of work waiting for us. Luckily, we have lots of great friends in the fitness world who had been patiently waiting to place their first bar orders with us, including Crossfit Redzone in Newtown CT and Crossfit Westport.

Our marketing strategy has been simple, so far. We spend an afternoon/evening at a local crossfit gym, we tell the story of how and why we developed this bar, and why this bar is ideal for athletes that train hard and demand healthy food options. We hand out samples of the bar for people to taste, and we're off and running!

The reaction that we've received to date has been amazing! People are connecting with our story, they are super happy with our ingredients and nutritional macors, and they love the way the bar tastes!

To date, we have 15 gyms that stock our bars and re-order on a regular basis. We also have our bars in two health-food stores, and we have a partner that provides healthy prepared meals.

Yes, we have run into a few hurdles along the way, growing pains I guess you would call them. Manufacturing, shipping, pricing, back orders... all of the issues that you would expect to encounter in a start up business, we've seen them, and we've handled them pretty well. I'm sure there are more hurdles waiting for us around the next corner. We will handle those as well.

All in all, we are super happy with the progress that we've made so far, and so thankful for all of the support that we've received from our friends, families, and the fitness community. Thank you all!
